Researching Lived Experience
Dr. Sierra's doctoral study takes an in-depth look at psilocybin treatment for women with fibromyalgia. The mixed-methods study tracked six female participants before and after a psilocybin-supported session, revealing meaningful reductions in pain and fatigue alongside increases in self-compassion, connectedness, and psychological flexibility.
The findings point to an emerging and much-needed avenue for advancing chronic pain research.

Intensives
I gained a lot through working with Sierra, who is a very insightful therapist. I am a vivid dreamer and HSP and a highly creative individual as well. I found the dream analysis work and sand tray therapy we did, blended with some somatic work, incredibly helpful and insightful in my growth in integrating symbols and dream content toward my healing and better understanding of myself. I have previously done a lot of EMDR and was delightfully surprised that I felt doing sand tray similarly rewired my brain.
I highly recommend working with Sierra.
